Donate
With more than 5,000 families in Catawba County currently living in unsafe or unaffordable conditions, we need your help more than ever!
Think you can't afford to give? Just $20 will buy a roll of insulation to help keep a family warm in winter. $75 will buy a kitchen sink, or $250 will buy a kitchen stove.
Every dollar you give means the world to a family who dreams of someday owning their own home.
All donations are tax-deductible. To donate today, simply click here.

There are numerous other ways to donate, including:
In Kind Donations
Habitat accepts donations of subcontractor labor (masonry, grading, electrical and plumbing) or of building materials that are in good condition and/or suitable for use on a Habitat home. If Habitat can't use it on the construction site then we may sell it through the Home Store. Please contact the Construction Site Supervisor at (828) 612-5625 to discuss details.
Land Donations
One of the major expenses for Habitat is buying land. If you have a piece of property you'd like to donate or sell at reduced cost, please contact the Executive Director at (828) 328-4663 x314. All donations are tax-deductible!
Aluminum Cans
Through a partnership with the Aluminum Association, Habitat receives money for recycling aluminum cans and other scrap metal. We have a convenient drop-off site at our office at 772 4th St SW in Hickory. If you're interested in setting up a collection site at your church or business, contact the Volunteer Coordinator by e-mail or at (828) 328-4663 x309 .
Since 1997, Habitat has recycled over 770,000 aluminum cans and received more than $23,000 from the Aluminum Association.
