Building on Faith

Building on Faith is a special event celebrating the work faith groups do with Habitat.  Though Habitat builds on faith every day, a specific Building on Faith event has become a way to mobilize the faith community to build houses as an expression of God’s love so that more people can have a simple, decent place to live.

Traditionally, Building on Faith is connected with the International Day of Prayer and is celebrated during September.

This year, Habitat for Humanity will celebrate Building on Faith from September 24th-27th by building houses at our Blue Sky Acres neighborhood. We are looking for churches to adopt houses or sponsor build days, provide lunches or simply pray for our Habitat families.
